DeltaT13
Well I'm finally back and on track (no more jetlag) from NZ. I can't believe I missed such a snowy and cold March, of all years to be somewhere else! Anyway, I don't ever remember us holding snowpack like we have the past three weeks. The majority of this fell on March 2nd and I assume the 12th/13th yet look at how much remained on March 25th..even with that potent spring sun Absolutely unreal. wolfie09
I have a feeling spring will be a little late this year...
wolfie09
Still plenty of snow up north..
BuffaloWeather
Euro gives most of the area 6-10" of snow in its 10 day outlook. GFS a couple shots, but to get accumulating snow it has to get quite cold this time of year in lower elevations. The cold in the long range is starting to warm marginally. southbuffalowx
Just the fact that models are depicting this in mid April is something. I have a feeling we'll unfortunately see another event or two before the season is truly done.
phoenixny
Hey guys, Anyone ever have issues with the Davis Pro rain gauge? Mine stopped reading and have done all the troubleshooting except replace the reed switch. Anyone have to replace the reed switch? It's the wired Pro.Thanks. DeltaT13
This late spring kind of sucks from a cabin fever standpoint but from a natural standpoint its very good for the environment. This is much closer to the normal weather that has occurred for thousands of years. At least we don't have to worry about trees budding out early, grapes, apples, peaches, pears, etc. Longer colder winters also do a better job of keeping insects in check. This kind of sucks but is more normal. Warm weather will be here soon, fear not. And keep working on those final indoor projects from the winter because soon you will not want to stay inside! I feel like we get high wind warnings at least 6-7 times a year maybe more. Being at the ne tip of a large lake will do that. Probably have some of the strongest tree roots around. CNY-LES FREAK
Winter is not over. Seriously nuts as I'm not liking the long range at all with the cold and snowy look. Nah, I'm done already. Need to clean out the basement and so many other projects, that need to be done, but can't begin until mud season passes, horrible!Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
WxNoob
Monday’s quick hitter trending north the past few model runs. Southern Tier folks could be in for a little surprise snowfall.

Syrmax
Happy Easter to all. And fingers crossed for Wolfie! At least we may have someone to directly blame for stealing our snow! Had a brief snowshower here this morning, so it's officially April Fools. And yeah it was windy AF last night with the frontal passage.
BuffaloWeather
Good luck Wolfie! The long range GFS looks like something you'd see in December not April. Crazy
