CNY_WX
The power has decided to go off for good here. Good thing I have my phone to keep contact with the outside world, lol.

Definitely compaction. The airport in Latham measured 7" at 7AM. Probably over double digits by now.
coh
10" average depth as of 10 am this morning. Surprising amount of drifting considering how heavy this stuff is. Not much stuck on the trees, though.
CNY-WXFREAK
Believe it or not but like I said yesterday, we get to do this all over again with almost an exact same track but of course there are differences. One of them being the thermal profiles with the next event should not be an issue, as we start off cold and end colder. its only 5 days out already so Tues-Thurs of next week. Looks to be about 1-1.25" of Liq Equ as of right now but that will change. I don't even know if any other globals are seeing it right now as the GFS is so we'll see. If this happens a 2nd time, it'll be a miracle. Highly unusual track, intensity, etc. I would say, I definitely believe in miracles...lol 12z GFS is very interesting 5 days out... CNY-WXFREAK
Its starting to break up over the Dacks so this may be a done deal here, but I'm quite satisfied!
vortmax
This amped -NAO with a -EPO is a nice combo for the end of the season. Let's hope we get another 1 or 2 storms like this!!

rochesterdave
About 10-12” in Pittsford. Great storm. Stayed wetter than I though. Lots of compaction. Probably 2” LE. 15” if measuredwith a board etc. I’m going with a foot. As usual, photos suck and don’t do it justice.

WxNoob
5’ maybe 6’ if I squint IMBY. RGEM pegged eastern finger lakes as the screw zone and really nailed it. Lost too much liquid to rain early and just too far west for the big wrap around stuff.

vortmax
Anyone post/comment on 12z Euro 5 day? Wondering if it reflects the LP seen on the GFS.
CNY_WX
Power just came back on here after being out about an hour. Snow is still falling moderately to heavy. I see a little breakup over the southern Adirondacks but locally things still look good for now.

Definitely not a good place to measure unless you want to pad your numbers.
Syrmax
Still light to moderate snow here, Just measured again, another 2-1/4” since 8 a.m....so that’s ballpark 1/2”/hr snow rate...not crippling by any means and roads are fine...but a lot of power problems since what fell earlier was New England boilerplate wet. Total of 10.5” so far.
vortmax
Euro has the LP at day 5 as well. Just further N and warmer than GFS. Waiting for 12z.
CNY_WX
If anything the snow intensity has picked up in the last 15 minutes. I’m living right on the edge of the wrap around moisture but I’ll take it for as long as keeps coming. Wind is picking up too.
Syrmax
NWS radar feeds or websites are all down. Anyone else seeing this? Russians again?
rochesterdave
Every storm the radars crash. Unbelievable. Took a walk, 14” in the open grassy areas. 2.5” LE. Gonna drive up to Woodcliff peak. Betting on 18-20”. Anyone know what Bristol ended with?
CNY_WX
Nothing like watching a Yankee game with heavy snow falling outside (even if they’re behind 3-0).

Syrmax
We are managing to hang onto the NW edge of the decent snow rate here in NW Onondaga County. Like 20 - 30 miles west of here ihas probably been just out of the game. Would be nice to see this slp rotate NW just a bit and throw some heavier returns back west a bit longer. southbuffalowx
32" report in Schoharie county, and it's still ripping there. Is 48" possible there?

I'm the Knox obs on there and up to 21" now. That most enhanced band has been sitting about 10-25 miles west of me though and really racking up the totals there. Logan11
It's definitely good snowball packing snow here, but I wouldn't call it exceptionally wet. The temperature has been stuck on 30 since after midnight.
