Nice wind blown snow here at 34.6degs.  The only thing getting white is the beach right now.  Incidentally the high tide really did not extend much beyond the regular high water mark, but it was noticible.

All I can think of is you must be in a an area of subsidence between bands where even though it's precipitating, the stronger dynamics are not immediately overhead.
