gravitylover Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 I still have the occasional burst of pellets mixing in but it's nearly all wind driven snow and it's piling up in a hurry. Looks like the temp is hovering right at freezing around the whole area. Alright heading out now for a fun 85 mile round trip over the top of the Taconics and up to the north side of Poughkeepsie. I don't think anyone thought the snow would be accumulating this quickly. NWS had forecast 2-4 inches in the valleys and 6-12 over higher elevations.
