Yeah at 6:30 this morning I noticed the sleet pounding against my window. My Wife, who works in Yonkers decided she wasn't going to risk it, and I would say at around 7:45 we changed over to a very heavy, wet snow.

Snowing down to river level at least as far south as Peekskill (and probably south of there).  Slushy accumulation on all surfaces due to intensity of the the wet snow.  Webcams in Westchester county showing a slushy or sleety accumulation in most places at least above 300'  Roads are snowpacked and dangerous above 600' in parts of rockland, Orange, and Putnam counties.  Dynamic cooling is winning out in a lot of places right now as the SLP intensification is maximized.  Hopefully that continues although the SLP will reach its lowest pressure and start filling this afternoon.
