There would be convective snow bursts for sure. 12z Euro had H5 temps getting down to -40 to -42C during the day on Wednesday.
nj2va
I’ve been outside on the patio all afternoon. Sun feels like 70s even though it’s 49. Sun angle FTW

Played 18 holes both yesterday and today, and once you got to noon or so (past the early morning chill), it was quite comfortable out there. Much warmer feeling then playing in 50ish degrees in January.
Jebman
Roads are brined to the point of looking white. Gotta keep everyone nice and safe, and also politicians covering their azzes.

wxdude64
Snow and 33.4/32.2 out there. Looks like about 1/2 inch on deck. Woke at 3 am to rain falling. LOL, my 'snowstorm' forecast from NWS has been cut from 4-8 to 1-3........
wxdude64
Glad I set that 'bar' low. Still lightly snowing here and up to 1.7 on the snowboard, driveway has melted and some of the snow in trees is falling off as the March sun does its thing. In a mini hole here, split north and south of me with bigger returns on radar and reports of 3-4 south and 5-6 north of me 20-30 miles each way. Even 'winning' this winter is a challenge lol. I have received 3.10 inches on the snowboard in eastern Augusta County with moderate snow still falling. 30 degrees with a northeast breeze of 4 - 8 mph. wxdude64
Yes, and enjoy it! It has been a trashy, trashy snow season from here over to Lexington up past you and into the eastern panhandle of WV. Heck, least I got enough today to eclipse last year's terrible numbers.

jonjon
Purple Powder Alert issued by White Grass. Last week's snow was beaten back into a hard base by the March sun over the weekend, but we were blasted by 7" of powder overnight and due for another 3-6" plus today and tonight. Should be over 30" for the month by the end of today. Nice to have this shot of winter after the crazy Feb thaw.
PhatStorm
We had 8 inches yesterday and another inch overnite. Was surprised the amount of drifting in the last 12 hours. 23 degrees and snow showers.
jonjon
Just upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning out here for 4-8 more inches. Actually a little surprised there wasn't even a school delay today.

nj2va
Legit white out conditions right now with gusts in the mid 30s. Heaviest squall of the day.
EastCoast NPZ
I see a squall survived the trek over the mountains. My mulch is dusted for the 10th time this year. Top-10 event. Lol.
jonjon
We've gotten 16" of pure powder love over the last 36 hours or so. Still snowing nicely. Kids got a 2 hour delay this morning, at least. Trying to make a late season run at climo.
Sparky
Getting a nice snow squall.
nj2va
Hard to measure with all the blowing and drifting but my best estimate is 5” since I got here yesterday at noon. Had some heavy squalls this morning but tapered off to light snow right now. I can see another squall moving in as I can’t see the ‘valley’ to my north right now. WxUSAF
Are these radar echoes producing anything? Nothing in greenbelt despite some blue nearby on radar.

Sitting at a lunch in Tyson’s and I’m pretty sure I just saw a quick flizzard. Couldn’t tell if it was flurries or just dust debris, but after checking the radar I’m pretty sure it was snow. Lasted 30 seconds tops.
