It held onto the Dec 30th storm 1 day longer than the GFS It had 2 consecutive double digit runs for the 4th of January about 5 days out It showed a 3-5" storm for more than 2 runs within 96 hours on the 17th of January It also held on to the legit storm idea for the Early Feb storm (that turned out to be a frontal passage as the GFS sorta sniffed out)

I mean for an ice storm I get, but why any time there's any snow, I see tons of people with their wipers up. What does this accomplish? It's pretty much to save the wiper blades. Many of our storms quite often freeze the blades to the windsheilds, even all snow events. Which can take a heavy toll on those blades when you go to detach them. As evidenced by the wiper blades that I just had to replace from a storm a few weeks ago because I forgot to put them up. Rather be safe then sorry and have to pony up 10-15 dollars for blades.
