Expand So true! We had a Ryan townhouse built in 2009. We've had issues with shingles and shutters flying off the house almost any time we get a powerful winter cold front or powerful winter storm. Today appears to be by far the worst though. For the side that faces w/nw, we've probably lost almost a quarter of the shingles and there is a few rows of them at the very top currently flapping up and down and constantly slamming against the roof. Expand I don't know if it's because they've built so many homes or if it's because they are an "affordable" builder, but I know many friends that have been inconvenienced by their work.
