snow is blowing sideways right now and it looks like it is dusk outside. really dark and gray. low visibility. I think slush is accumulating on sidewalks in trenton and on lesser streets. I'm very curious how back home in Levittown is doing. Does anyone in lower bucks have a report?

Neighbors have light sensitive automatic outdoor lighting...and they're on at 1:55pm which means it dark.

Radar looks great: 32.3F Heavy snow/wind

Really ripping out there now. Up to near 1.5" once the ground got cold enough although the temp is still 33F.  Someone is getting rocked under a near-40dbz band in central Montco -

All lower and middle Montco is getting nailed pretty good right now. Not only snow but the winds have kicked into high gear within the past hour..

Yup even the last snow couple weeks ago we got slammed 7.5 in 4 hrs. that's probably what you are dealing with. well at least the wind is making it interesting. I'm not sure but I thought I saw the sun peak through Lol

Lost power at my place in upper mt bethel pa when my only willow tree came down and ripped the power line off the house.. also lost an oak.. and a walnut. All came down around 11-11:30. Had to drive around several more in the road.. Winds usually underperform at my location .. not this time!

I just noticed that Binghamton put up a Blizzard Warning in the Poconos -

Blizzard Warning

NYZ046-057-062-PAZ040-048-072-030600-

Including the cities of Oneonta, Delhi, Walton, Monticello,
Damascus, Equinunk, Milford, and Honesdale
1242 PM EST Fri Mar 2 2018

...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will
cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant drifting
of the snow is likely. Additional snow accumulations of 10 to 14
inches are expected, especially at higher elevations.

* WHERE...In Pennsylvania, Wayne, Pike Counties. In New York,
  Otsego, Delaware and Sullivan Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very dangerous to
impossible. Tree damage and scattered power outages expected
especially at higher elevations from weight of snow and gusty
winds. Winds gusting as high as 40 to 50 mph will cause areas of
  blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get
stranded, stay with your vehicle. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Yep, although I don't live around you I fully expect to see some flickerage (if not out of power) the next day or so. And the lawn feels like a bunch of of wet Nerf balls...I sink and squash with every step. Very saturated.

I'm fully pumped to see wet pasting snow with 40-50mph+ winds. I'll be the idiot outside (BBQing?) enjoying it while to neighbors peep out their windows saying WTF is that guy doing?? And since it's a Friday night...booze may be involved.

Prediction: 3.5" - 4-5" lawn/trees/power lines and some paved surfaces depending on intensity. It's not really the amount but I think it's going to look pretty cool out there with the nutjob winds.....whiteout potential at times?

I just had some dimming and flickerage and it went out for about 3minutes but came back on relatively fast.  Have 3 laptop battery backups and can tether through my phone so I'm in good shape..

My prediction is off: 6 - 7" is where I'm at now.

Just got back to Thorndale from KOP. The mall area was horrible. 202 was caving fast. Massive flakes. Easy 1-2” on ground already. Snow slowed as you went west. About 0.5” in Thorndale area up over 500’. That western edge is cut off at West Chester from the better rates in Chester Co. Still very windy over the area. Crazy storm
