JTA66
Lost power once already. If this was only a snowstorm, I wouldn't mind so much. But the sump pumps are busy with all the rain -- don't want to lose those!

LVblizzard
I'm on the 4th floor of a building so this is a very rough estimate, but it looks like we have 6-7" of snow out there right now in East Stroudsburg. Still coming down hard, just not the crazy 2-3"/hr rates we had before.
Ralph Wiggum
what are you at 1.5"-2"? that's another fairly busy road that has caved as well. the lack of salt is probably helping here. Just over 1.5" now for the day. Gusty as all out there.
JTA66
Just a fascinating storm -- rain in SNE, snow over us and the worst of the winds seem to be down in MD/VA.

The Iceman
snow is blowing sideways right now and it looks like it is dusk outside. really dark and gray. low visibility. I think slush is accumulating on sidewalks in trenton and on lesser streets. I'm very curious how back home in Levittown is doing. Does anyone in lower bucks have a report? KamuSnow
33F, moderate to heavy snow here! It looks like it means business. I was just outside and it's wonderbar! If this keeps up past 4 or 5 pm today, we'll lose the effects of solar insulation and a lot of roads will probably go south at that point if they haven't already. Probably a half inch here or so on the grass, but it's hard to tell, it's had the same look for the last hour plus, lol.
The Iceman
looks like two or maybe 3 distinct bands are going to set up here as the storm pivots. Looks like one in upper bucks and montgomery down to chester one in central-lower bucks down to philly and one in central jersey. radar is actually looking possibly the best it has all day.
