I was going to say the same thing, except it sh#t the bed further north with that band, but some parts of Fairfield county and southern Litchfield county got 20+..

The banding is tough though to get the exact placement, I'm sure there was no models spitting out 37" in SVT..............

I have had 5"/hr rates in one storm for 3hrs and ended up with 19" a few years back, Pretty insane when you can't see the neighbors house.

I had a good half hour like that yesterday afternoon, other than that it was about 1"/hr stuff...my top 3 highest rate snow were Jan 96, Feb 05, and Feb 13...96 tops with barely being able to see street lights while driving in it... crazy!!

96 is king for me 28” total, complete shutdown from dc to nyc, but what were you doing driving in it?

Further north than that.   I think BOS had 19 inches and PWM had a foot.  Then the ULL came through for another 4 inches here a day later.
