TalcottWx
Euro is still focusing on the convection to the east despite that trend.
wxsniss
Exactly as expected and posted an hour ago... Thru 48hrs: big step towards 12z CMC/GFS, with ULL capture of surface low closer to BM this is coming folks

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
It’s better, kink in isobars at 48 shows it...still not the complete nuke but thats a good step right direction esp with the colder look.
JC-CT
Yeah, the surface is still warm, and it will be. But if you have some elevation watch out. If that run verifies lol

jbenedet
What’s sweet is the coastal is just getting captured at hr 48, so it still has synoptic wave mechanics to track north.

I agree, eventually. There will definitely be a time where 850s are below zero but we are still waiting for it to flip because the surface needs to cool from +4 C. dendrite
Does the sfc low truly follow that convection or is it just spitting an "L" in an area with slightly lower pressure while dynamically the sfc low takes over to the NW of that closer to the better mid level dynamics?
