Holy freakin' crap, from 3/8" at about 6:25 pm to 1.5" of snow at 7:05 pm - that's over a 1.5" per hour rate.  Roads covered with about 3/4" of snow and accumulating easily now that melting is near nil, as temps are 33F.  Will be surprised if I don't exceed my 4.5" prediction.  Gorgeous out there.

Up to 2" as of 7:30 pm and down to 32F now; this is slightly over 1" per hour rates still and snowing heaviliy - heaviest snow of the winter for me.  At this point, given the SPC notice and the radar, I think I'm going to bust low on my 4.5" forecast for my house.  I'm crushed, lol.

Snow has been moderate to heavy here in Westchester since 5PM. Just got in to my house in Tarrytown after having traveled Ardsley and Greenburgh. Easily 2.5" of heavy wet snow by 7:15PM. Roads are in bad shape (even the major highways and heavily traveled roads). Cleaned off my car after being outside in a shopping center parking lot ... started with the rear window ...and by the time I got around the car, the rear window was covered again.

I think we’re tucked in pretty well at MMU. At around 4” or so this far. Very pretty, too. Gorgeous, and then looking forward to playing catch on Wednesday when it’s 75.

.

I'll get an inch tonight and be 52 on Wednesday lol

Looks like the rain snow line is around I-195 and slowly pushing north. Rates just don’t want to get any heavier around here, it’s always been just light. Banding is to my north and I guess I’m getting the subsidence.

Just to your north
