It's going to thump for a while.  I think an inch is guaranteed for you but I could be wrong of course.

We’ll see. The radar looks encouraging but we’ll need the heavy rates to cool the boundary layer for a while. And then hope the Euro and other models are wrong about surging 850 and 925mb warmth in.
