North Balti Zen
Flipped back to snow - and heavy snow - after some pingers for about 30 minutes - pretty amazingly at 2 inches here in my part of Baltimore.
ErinInTheSky
Can any Gaithersburg folks let me know what totals look like? I’m on a trip in SW PA and got 3” here. Want it for my log.
BlizzardNole
Snow/sleet mix in Germantown and 32; eyeballing about 2.5 inches. Very pretty out with grass covered and trees caked. MDHokie: that is one HUGE snowman! Gonna be fun watching how long that thing makes it with temps in the 70s next week..

Pouring shi-tty flakes with a few parachutes mixing back in. Yea man! I got between 2.1-2.2. I'll go with 2.1". Roads are terrible. WAY more impact than I expected. Fun to drive around in though. Surface temps over performed and considering it got warmer than expected earlier...that's a good lesson for everyone. Shallow warm layers can get punched in the face with good rate/evap cooling/wet bulbing etc. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna hit .4 qpf for this one too. EEEEEEEUROOOOO! Overall, this event is going to go down as a big win in my yard. Heavy rates at times, nice dendrites, roads caved, and temp got below freezing. What more can you ask for out of this one? clskinsfan
Man. I wish we were going to be in the teens next week instead of the 70's. Shame I will have to watch this disappear tomorrow. Down to light snow here. Back edge is very close. Really a great event.

Chris78
Just measured 1.5 on the deck table. Didn't really get going till about 5 but has been moderate to occasionally heavy since then. Hoping to hit 2 before it shuts off.

CAPE
About 2" here in Gettysburg. Really pretty. Maybe another inch tops looking at radar trends, but the heavy returns are dwindling some and sinking south. The earlier call of 3-7" for here was way too bullish. WeathermanB
Measured 1.2'' of +SN right now on the ground. First time breaking an inch since Jan 16th i think. 33/33 w/100% saturation in the atmosphere, although a small intrusion of dry air did create a 20 minute lull about an hour ago. Rain/snow line getting too close for comfort, and i can see a small intrusion of greens trying to reach Baltimore.
Jebman
I have a half inch of sleet/snow in Dale City, this storm has overperformed. My bar was slush on the car top. However, the back edge is passing overhead. Can't complain though. That was sure quick.

Maestrobjwa
Measured a little over 2 inches on grass, 0.5 inches on pavement here in ne Balt. City! (And it looks to be going back to mostly snow now) I still can't get over the fact that the roads actually caved, lol (Had they pre-treated the main roads at all?) Yeah I just went out again and that is probably about what it is here. Still steady snow but smaller flakes now. I think 3 maybe 3.5" will do it for here. Nice little event though, and I got a nice hike in earlier in the mountains west of here before the snow started.

clskinsfan
Last line coming through now. 3.5 for the event. Excellent. Nothing better than sitting by the fire with a glass of Macallan 12 and watching the snow fall.

The Dude
We have about 1.75 here in N. Bethesda. Just enough for some great sledding. At least until the rain came... Great event!
