Typhoon Tip Posted February 7, 2018 Share Posted February 7, 2018 I'm not sure how accurate the Intellicat radar is with it's p-type and transition is but ... perhaps Scott might know... but the mix axis really has slammed to a halt over the south coast over the last couple of hours. I'm wondering if this is just a hesitation before marching in as a broadly swathed icing/sleet shield because as far as point obs go, I don't see how this cold is getting out of here prior to the low tipping the wind back around to the N late this afternoon/evening...
