mm.. it's really more of hybrid 'swfe' tho -

i tried to point this out the other day, that the low is passing under our latitude... the 850 mb is closing off under our latitude, albeit weakly and at intervals less than the standard one you see on synoptic charts.... the moment that happens, you're probably cat pawing as it is in a marginal thermal depth... but, that pinching ends any south-westiness about it - heh seriously though

Fair enough.  I  can't recall ever going back to snow after freezing rain  this type of set up .

Can you lay out where the slp actually did end tracking ?

Just about over BOS and into Cape Anne it appears. Steve had a brief spike, but interesting that PVD area did not. That's what happens sometimes. The low pressure is sort of broad and diffuse.

Interesting that Reverend Kev and The Pope of NH would be at odds.

Interesting dialog with this event.

34F here in Brooklyn.  Cold, heavy rain.  Picked up maybe an inch of snow if that. May be the last snow I see for weeks or even til the March Super Storm of 2018.

I guess the Rev won't be getting ordained a Cardinal now.

I’m down to 30.8 . Spent 60 minutes at 32 or above

16 minutes above 32.0 (32.2) lol. But I'll give credit to JonBenet, I was wrong!

Radar looks to be filling in. Might get a dusting on the backside.
