weathafella
Looks like dual pol has the western mix line moving further north vs the eastern part of it. May buy me 30-45 minutes.
ORH_wxman
This stuff is awesome actually....just dense baking powder but some aggregaes mixed in just enough to prob help ratios from being like 8 or 9 to 1. Pouring snow though...def looks more impressive outside then what radar leads me to think. Radar would say like regular moderate snow. So yeah, prob some CF enhancement as Scott mentioned. HimoorWx
Back to small flakes here in Boston with a few biggies mixing back in. Can't say for sure, but wouldn't be shocked if there are a few pingers mixing in.

ORH_wxman
Yeah looks like there is a little bit of resistance to the sleet line in E MA vs a little further west....won't stay that way though. But could buy an extra 30 min.

ORH_wxman
Absolutely ripping here....but it looks like the last hurrah...sleet line fast approaching on dual pol ad there's a lot more aggregates now which is betraying the existence of the warming layer aloft. We'll see how much longer it holds on.

tamarack
Flakes reached Augusta shortly after 12:30, as the odd concavity of echoes filled in, and quickly ramped up to moderate. Visibility now barely over 1/4 mile, with tiny flakes, looks like about 1/2" new. Augusta had 19° at 1 PM, dropped a degree as the snow arrived. Yeah prob about an hour to 90 minutes. These things can be kind of tough to nowcast...they will sometimes temporarily halt for a while.

DomNH
3'' with moderate snow so I'd expect somewhere in the 5-6'' range before the scalping here.
