February doesn't look promising thus far but at least we're not torching like last year. I'm sitting at 49. That's par for the course

Actually it looks horrible at least for the next 2 weeks. Doesn't look like temps will drop below freezing for at all for that time at least for us.

3.05 and counting for this event

7.27 for flooded february so far

Yeah, anybody in the upstate saying we need more rain is off their rocker. Before this weekend's rain , the ponds in my neighborhood were overflowing for two days. Need some cold, COLD, even dry cold would be awesome!

A trace - 4 times today so far.

Our once described 'significant rain event' for this part of the NC is now this...

The ongoing swath of convection traversing the Florida Panhandle is
raising some concern that it could be adversely disrupting/cutting
off the moisture transport north into the region, evident in the
large gaps/holes in convection across TN, the Carolinas and
Virginias. Have backed off pops a little but still expect to see
likely to categorical showers spread east into the area overnight as
the front finally pushes east of the mountains, but with
significantly lower qpf amounts of a quarter of an inch or less
across the area.
