Don't get me wrong I appreciate every flake and its why I moved to here but it's not that noteworthy. Now if I start reporting 3-4" that's when maybe it bodes well for lower/souther locations. I'm not expecting anything at all here, even if you do get 3-4". DP holding steady at 40 for the last hour.
Mordecai
40 and solid rain for the past half hour. At least it's better than nothing
ATreglown
NWS still wants to have non accumulating snow showers here at some point. But, it is still a toasty 55/45 here. I would love some snow, but I do not want the rain. No drought what so ever IMBY!! If it is not going to snow, I would rather it be dry for a while!! Jebman
I was on yet another winter chase into West Virginia this evening, and I observed rain and slowly falling temps from Dale City into Manassas into Dulles along Rt 28, then on along Rt 7. Once I hit Clueless's and Mountain Geek's hoods, the rain began to mix with some snow. That was fun, watching slushy snow and rain hit the windshield. I really enjoy these forays into eastern W VA lol.

psuhoffman
This radar always seems to know exactly when I'm changing over and picks up the ridges up here well. http://www.marylandwx.com/radar/klwxstate_br.php
Jebman
Maryland and the higher terrain, all the usual places, are going to get absolutely annihilated this month by snow. You may not think this will happen now, but by and by, you will be fully assured of it and you will become a true believer.
RichmondTarHeel
Well I’ve got sleet in fairfax at 40 degrees. Guess the upper levels are pretty cold.

I'm okay with this timeline. 39 here and still rain

wxdude64
Nothing on the accumulation front except decks and vehicles, again the mountains are beautifully white, gonna blame the 49 degree high yesterday and couple hours of rain on that. Guess that is better than nada lol. Still some flurries and 23.1/15.5 at 9 am, ended up with 0.11 of liquid.
