MN Transplant
Only 1300 outages in VA, so that’s good news on a Super Bowl Sunday.

midatlanticweather
Stuck at 32. Had to go get some propane to finish my ribs on the grill (hopefully get a smoker thus spring) and the ice on the trees is pretty impressive. Pine Tree limbs bending to the road in a few spots. This would have been a great snow..

Because above all else, Americans will be entertained. #FirstWorldProblems 33 for past couple of hours...and with exception of a few minutes of mixing sleet in 10am-12 noon timeframe, all rain thus far. cae
Still 32. Lights just flickered here. I hadn't looked at the "Swiss Super HD" on weather.us for this storm until today. It's 06z run did a very good job around here. Got the snow onset, change over to ZR, and change over to rain almost exactly right. Better than any of the other mesos. The only problem is that it didn't run at 18z or 00z last night.
smokeybandit
18z GFS suddenly has 1-2" of snow this evening. Hah!
Eskimo Joe
If this keeps up, we might eek out some 0.2" or 0.25" ice reports north of I-70. This is starting to turn into a nice little event for the climo folks.

Just hit 0.2” ice accretion here in Clarksburg, well south of I-70. 1”-2” tree branches (that are already compromised) starting to come down. osfan24
After very brief snow to freezing rain, it's been just rain here all day but surprised at the amount of ice accumulating on the trees.

ErinInTheSky
Rain is heavy still 32 on the ground though. Accretions seem to be melting a little but if the temp starts dropping that might not last.
