Only a small tidbit on the potential from the LWX afternoon AFD

Quote

A low pressure system and its associated cold front will be
moving away from the Mid-Atlantic coast as an upper trough
pushes east over our region Monday into Monday night. Rain and
snow showers associated to these are expected Monday and into
the night with an increase in wind speeds. Will have to watch
this situation carefully as a bit of accumulation is not out of
the question.

AA County School District is already issuing FYIs about this storm.

Superintendent George Arlotto today reminded parents of all Anne Arundel County Public Schools students that the semester break for students – now scheduled for January 31, 2018 – could shift if there is inclement weather that forces schools to close on any of the last two days of the second marking period.

All quarterly assessments must be given by the end of the marking period and before the semester break. Thus, if inclement weather forces a closing of schools on either January 29 or 30 – the last “A” day and “B” day of the high school schedule – the semester break will be shifted forward accordingly.

Should inclement weather force a two-hour delay on either January 29 or January 30, all schools will open two hours late and close at their normal time to accommodate assessments.

EPS rolling.. Looks like it has more decent hits from the trailing wave than 0z EPS. Surprisingly more.

Here's the individual members (note, some of these are purely IVT. Bigger hits are trailing wave though)

Seems like there are around 10-11 coastal hits to my untrained eye? All the rest seem to be IVT?

Oh, dear GOD. Nothing like giving a three-day lead heads-up for a friggin' DUSTING of snow. #ThinkOfTheChildren
