Geoboy645
Got about 6" here. It was a nice snowfall, not too much to cause issues but just enough to cover the grass by a couple of inches and make everything white again. Helps there wasn't much wind here. UMB WX
yeah id be tickled in madison. in mke it was a unmemorable "storm" no wind earned it a few bonus points along with such a tiny amount of liquid it will evaporate right up in the torch. tuanis
Storm totals for the Chicago area as of 6 AM. Looks about right, I measured ~6" this morning before a couple heavier bands moved through covering the driveway again. Super-long duration with lots of lulls, but it produced in the end... should all be gone by the weekend. It was snowing big dendrites steadily with few clouds yesterday afternoon and again this morning - a sure sign of full saturation and efficient snow production. The pivot was pretty sweet to watch on radar even though returns were lacking much of the time.
hawkeye_wx
I picked up an extra 0.7" of fluff overnight and this morning. I didn't even know it was supposed to snow.

slow poke
Been snowing pretty hard for a couple hours now here in the thumb of MI, looking like it's coming in of Lake Huron. The strange thing is we think we just saw a flash of lightning! Anyone in south east MI been following the radar the past hour or so? Is it possible we saw lightning?
