Geoboy645
I got about 3" or so here. Definitely a drier snow, western schools had 2 hour delays. None in my area though.
OrdIowPitMsp
3.3" of fluff here. Long duration event and mood flakes will be ongoing all day today with temps in the single digits. Love this deep winter feel.

tuanis
About 2” of marshmallow fluff here. We need Geos back in Lake County. Also, I never knew schools and some businesses closing for MLK day was unique to the Chicago Metro.

I thought everyone had it off. No school in northwest Ohio and banks are closed. We probably would have had delays in the area today.
cyclone77
Finished with 2.0" here, 1.5/1.6" at DVN/MLI. I'll take it, as for a bit I was wondering if we would fall short of 2". Was still a half inch too high on my forecast for here and the QC.
Snowstorms
LES band has stationed itself just north of Toronto, towards Newmarket, off Lake Ontario since the morning while Toronto itself remains dry. We'll see if this sags south through the day.

Jackstraw
Ended up with 2.5, then this last little band just came through and added another inch or so. Man it sure looks like more, 3 foot drifts in the country.
Chinook
On an interesting note, Paducah KY received 7.1" of snow this week, (including 5PM climate report today) almost as much as their annual average of 9.1".
Chambana
Actually a fun little clipper recorded 3.5” of fluff and winds started cranking last night reducing visibility significantly for awhile. Had off and on light snow today as well.

michsnowfreak
Grinded sugar snow for hours them we had a nicer band with better flake size. 1.6" as of a little bit ago and sparkling like crazy. Still not sure what to expect overnight as lake convergence is likely. So pretty out but for once I'm jealous of Ohio lol. You guys have way more on the ground for a change. And Chicago and Milwaukee finally got some snow. Looks like the roller coaster starts next week.
Geoboy645
Got about 4" or so now, with the lake effect snow about to hit. I'm think another 1" or so with an out side chance of up to 3" if it stay around for a bit. Definitely i odd getting a lake effect snow band way the heck over here. Happened in the event last spring too.
Aleksey
Picked up 3.2” here from today’s clipper. Looking at another 1/2” over night! Should finish around 3.5-4.0” total. Not a bad clipper at all! Now let’s reel in a huge midwestern snow monster!! Biggest storm so far is 6.2” back in early December, still waiting on a 10”+. Ottawa Blizzard
Really over-performing here. I measured 5.5" in three different places where there isn't any drifting. Very fluffy snow too, easy to shovel. This makes up for last Friday's bust, for sure.
