Bob Chill
My front walk and driveway is perfectly glazed. It just looks wet but if you step onto the driveway your next step will be getting out of the middle of the street.
NorthArlington101
Mostly wet with the exception of some decorative yard stones. Maybe things freeze over a little bit.
ThePhotoGuy
Haven't looked out since 5:00 but before that it was just rain. No icing at all.

Schools certainly wimped out today. 6 minutes ago, H2O said: 33 and...wait for it...rain 34/20. And yeah...VERY bone-headed call by FCPS and most of the southern 'burb school districts to either close early or (oh, my stars and garters) CLOSE today. #GimmeABreak #LookingAtYouFCPS
gopper
Just tried take the trash out, but changed my mind. Driveway and sidewalks extremely slippery. I foresee a two hour delay for Baltimore County Schools tomorrow. Towson, MD
gymengineer
I don't get why the parents didn't revolt when Fairfax County PS switched to Loudoun County PS's 13 snow-day model. I mean, if you have 13 snow days to burn, this is what's going to happen. It happened in Loudoun County before Fairfax County decided to make the switch. It used to be like the MD counties by counting days, so it could only put in 4-5 snow days a year. Fairfax County and Montgomery County used to be tightly coupled for closure decisions. That’s no longer the case.

87storms
based of the reports here maybe i'm too close to the city or they salted too much (there's literally a salt truck in my parking lot right now). i'll test the sidewalks later. i'll be disappointed if there's not at least a little bit of ice. osfan24
Usually, we fail mightily at anything close to the 30's with ice. We have temps over freezing this time and everything is icy.

BlizzardNole
I just went to get the mail and couldn't resist sliding out on the the shiny, icy street. LOL I had a hard time getting back despite only a slight incline...I can only imagine hilly streets! It is 31 degrees now but the glaze is like you'd see at 25 or lower. Hurricanegiants
Why have we not heard greater concerns/flags about the refreeze tonight. Black ice etc.. I know it is not going to 15 but 29 and below is going to be quite a concern.
