USCAPEWEATHERAF Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Here is my next event snow map for Cape and Islands, it is an Ocean Effect Snow event from January 6th through 7th, models have been giving off .1-.3" of QPF for this event, which could be from 3-6" of snow on 20:1 ratios with such cold air in place. LongBeachSurfFreak Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 I think the smoothed grids on the models gave the impression that more precip would fall closer to the coast.
