Can we get one storm where we dont need a tick, a jog...can we get a storm where if there is a tick or jog, we dont get screwed. We are good at getting 60% of what we need from trends...and then it hits a brick wall. with that being said...that was like a 300 mile Tick east LOL

osfan24
I'm still in on this because there is nothing else to track and maybe it's progressive enough we get lucky for a change, but the Euro isn't the lock that it used to be.

Cobalt
Interesting look on Tuesday/Wednesday for Euro. Hopefully we can pull something off without giving ORF over 4x more snowfall before our next warmup

It really is one of the old school ways we got small/mod events in the past. Like in the 80s. Simple overrunning. No complicated amplification/timing or anything like that. Just a slug of isentropic upglide over a cold dome. It's pure fantasy for now but at least it's not convoluted.

Amped
1/15/06 we had a similar setup that trended went way east. I don't think this one has much room to trend since the second disturbance hitting washington at 60hrs is going to kick it north.

Small cluster but Mon-Thurs is our only window before roasting for a few days at least. If you want to will it away then go for it. At least we have an op run that showed a normal and realistic way to take advantage of a brief window sandwiched by upper level disaster.
