We had a few minutes of mod-heavy snow now we are back to light stuff. Less than an inch since 5 am. I guess it is subsidence. They are having a tough time getting here so far. We can't control what they do, but I've seen no guidance that suggests we'll do less than 6 here. So we'll see. Ericjcrash
Noticeably windier, snow heavier. Can' measure accurately as the snow is blowing away. Visibility is horrendous. Whether or not a blizzard will verify is pretty irrelevant as it's certainly approaching blizzard conditions. All of the island (including Brooklyn and Queens) should be under a blizzard warning.
