ISP has reported 3" an hour for 2 straight hours now.

Somehow, the State decided to keep the courts open for business today.  Luckily, I have the privilege of working from home in my line of work.

Continuing to puke snow and wind in Lindenhurst.  Have easily surpassed 6" by now!

Storm now near  38.0N   71.5W, highest wind still 75mph. west of center.   @10AM

I have 23degs. , 29.40".

Reminds me of Jan.13, 1964 conditions, but there was more liquid to work with then.  Quick hitter too, 4AM-9PM, leaving 13".

That would certainly mean Harlem too.

That band out over the forks is the real deal. I can't imagine many ending in single digits out there.

I'm not sure it makes it far enough South to hit Northern Manhattan island, but it could clip Washington Heights and Inwood. The GWB looks to be about the cutoff.
