the lightest snow in the history of light snow has began. radar looks decent with good banding. can easily get a few inches quick if we can ever get into one. this may be my revenge event though for over performing on every other event this year lol

By 7 we should finally be under some banding if radar holds. If we fall under more subsidence or that band stops moving WNW low end totals will verify here. Make lr break time approaching quickly.

If any consolation, hrrr has snow falling thru 4pm so there's that.

Winds increasing with sideways light to mod snow at times. Hard to tell how much w/the blowing...thinking .5 -1".

Half inch here at best so far....being generous.

Probably .5"... .75" at most. I really do think we'll get into some decent rates within an hour or so. Winds definitely cranking more and more. Salt truck dude just passed by...

Jan. 4, 7am: 6.0" on ground, 24F, moderate snowfall, wind N17G38mph, peak gust 47mph@3:44am, pressure 29.48", visibility probably a little better than 1/4m. Thought I'd have more than 4.7" since midnight. Gotta say this: looking out the the window right now is a beautiful winter scene!

Mod snow, but really poor dendrites -- some of the smallest flakes I've ever seen. Guess it's due to the winds aloft?
Yup. That's why ratios aren't high with high winds.

Also, looks like Lehigh Valley will just miss out. They should pull an inch out of this. But those bands are pulling east already. I've only seen flurries and I'm not expecting much more

I think 6" in these parts (SE Montco) is off the table.

Might be off the table here in Gloucester County as well if these bands can't make it beyond the shore.  It's gonna have to start dumping snow if we're going to make those numbers here.
