Hoth
Liking those heavy heavy returns showing up southeast of Long Island. Hopefully those pivot over us in a few hours.
tamarack
Should start here soon, clouds are thick and moon obscured, temp still near zero. (9 straight subzero minima. Assuming we get back below the mark by 9 tomorrow evening, the streak should reach 12 or 13.) P'n'C has 9-15 for here. State offices are closed, so no Augusta commute. Baroclinic Zone
So my discussion last night of a more compact fronto/ML band does not appear to be the case. This is taking on the more traditional winter storm setup we see with the track. Still a great topic to ponder. 10z HRRR really pounds the SE MA area. Going to be some intense rates setting up in the next couple hours. 31/27 -sn
