Typhoon Tip
perception is politics ...heh, success. J.Q. public will look out the window; it's snowing, it's blowing, it's cold and inconvenient, ...win. just got to get at least 8" ... and together with the wind that seems (oddly enough) to be a sure bet, that'll really seal it -

wxsniss
2 factors I thought would mitigate this do not seem to be an issue... at all... 1) occluded storm that will plateau and shred at our latitudes 2) farther east track Only thing that could keep us from widespread 1-2 feet is quick duration. RIstoneworkguy
Well, I went to work at 7 AM with a light snow and set three stones... I’d be living in the work tent If I hadn’t left by 8:30. Really impressive snowfall rate in Watch Hill, RI. At about 3 inches now. And as I assumed, good ol’ Cumberland Farms is still open... assuming anyone can find the front door. Stay safe folks!
