87storms
i'm in for a thunderstorm and also incredibly in for a stretch of milder temps. i'm ready for a break from the cold, and maybe a reshuffle of the pattern in general.
wxdude64
Wow! 41.4/8.2 in the full sun feels almost hot after past couple weeks lol. On downer note, snow is basically gone now, just piles and VERY shaded spots have anything left.

Amped
Nice EML, now all we need is some cape and shear. J/K, that is an odd sounding though. Edit: COnsidering todays high was 10f warmer than the NAM showed, it's probably wrong. 60 tomorrow anyone?
WEATHER53
I have this totally shaded spot of PA flagstone and it gets cold and stays really cold. The 0.8" from last event is still 0.4. Two days of around 50 couldn't melt it
wxdude64
Was 23.5 when I left for work last night at 10 pm, got home at 7 am to 38.8 with a strong WSW wind gusting 20-30 mph....crazy.

Gonna head out and 'de-salt' the truck. 51.3/33.0 at 12:45, and P/C skies, downfall is wind is still in the 15-25 mph range.
dailylurker
This first day of spring is nice. 3 weeks of winter is over and now 4 months of spring to go. Oh joy
Paleocene
Took a hike this AM along the Patuxent and a tributary in southern Anne Arundel. It was 38 when I started and 58 when I left lol. There was lots of ice on the river and on the creeks... that'll be gone soon! Here's a pic

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
This is most definitely the best way to not snow...shorts and T shirt jog and then outdoor time with my daughter.
EastCoast NPZ
Nice out. I'd be fine if it stayed like this until Mid-march. Then give us 1-month of cold to kill the bugs and stunt the grass. Hopefully freeze all those annoying daffodils that will probably start blooming by next week.

ThePhotoGuy
It was a beautiful warm day on the Eastern Shore. Still lots of ice on the Chesapeake Bay, Kent Narrows, & Choptank River. The sunset was amazing tonight at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge, MD! Thankfully Wildlife Drive was open but some parts of the refuge was closed due to the government shutdown. The Sunset lasted well over a half hour post sunset. Thousands of Snow Geese flying around too!

That is impressive Went from a low of 25 to a high of 57 here yesterday, and I was outside most of the time. Started out bundled up and by noon I had thin thermal shirt on and a cap and was sweating. CAPE
Was outside taking advantage of the mild weather to do my annual mid-winter rake/repair/redistribute of the stone driveway and I spotted some remnant survivor drifts from the early Jan storm.
