You know your stuff and your level headed about it...That’s a big plus. I don’t know the complexity of met terms, it just makes sense in my head but I also can get too emotional....it’s a serious time consuming hobby where many hours are spent dodging ghosts while looking to mount the white unicorn. Stressful.

In many ways, synoptic wise inclusive, combing a+b should result in =c.
Think again.
IMO we be in uncharted territory in ways one has to think of the results unfathomable, what curve in this event that can't be forecast.
Uncharted Dark Territory! Models get one into the ballpark...5-6"/hr rates, gusts as high akin to a CAT3 hurricane. Possibly over-performing in what is forecasted.
