CAD_Wedge_NC
Got this sneaky feeling that this is going to be a storm we talk about far a while. Winds, pressure, and snowfall in places that don't normally see that much snow.
rduwx
It looks like the double barrel low is killing the moisture on the west side. Moisture doesn't get going on the west side until after there is one concentrated LP.

PackWxMan
I think E. NC will be surprised by the presence of warm air aloft. I hate it for them, but it is something I have experienced more times than not. Greenville dont be surprised to see a Sleet party.

Cold Rain
The 12k Nam radar is better than the 18z run. Bet 3k will be better.

Not supported by any model....its pretty much all snow here all the time maybe a few hrs of Zr/Pingers to start then its snow and probably a cold snow with temps falling into the low to mid 20's....if the NAM doesnt have the warm nose there is no warm nose....hell its gonna snow all the way to the coast.... Jet Stream Rider
What a wicked gradient. And there is not a lot of warmth to be had for the nose in this air mass, even along the coast.

packbacker
3km tracks it just outside of HAT...the NAM's can't be a little stingy on the NW gradient so would think back to 85 would be good with that track. Would like to see the RGEm with this track.
