The writing for this was on the wall this morning when the snow kept trying to settle south and east into NJ and out at sea, was actually apparent last night in the short range models emphasizing central NJ more. While the big bad storms are a bunch of fun, constant wintry appeal is better. I could do without the hardcore cold though, it makes it too expensive to heat the house. I guess it depends. Typically you get the smaller events when it's very cold and the big one when you're about to switch back to milder weather, although that's not always the case either. Didn't have any snowcover anywhere besides the grass and car tops everything else blew away. This kind of snow is better for rural areas, doesn't last beyond a day for urban or semi-urban areas.
