I don't think I've personally seen a string of mesolows moving along a LES band before. Extremely cool. Very impressive velocity signatures too. Michigan city is in one of those. Most likely 3-4" per hour in that thing.
Stebo
Took this earlier out at the island, can't even see the 1/2 mile across the channel.
Jackstraw
Close to 4 on the board, a little less. One thing about pixie dust, man will it drift!
stormtrackertf
Haven't had a chance to measure officially yet but we have probably around 5", a Christmas miracle.

chuckster2012
Managed 1.5" down here in SSE Indiana. Still flurrying. ( My first post of the season, btw ).
Hoosier
Added on a few tenths, so final total of 3.5"
TugHillMatt
Lake effect snow band came onshore a bit ago, and we are currently getting dumped on with large dendrites. Time to go for a snow-walk...or if you know "Jebman", a "Jeb walk"!!! Beautiful snowfall...

Had a squall at 9:30 with a brief white out but no thunder. That would have been awesome.
WinterStorm294
3.25" here, pretty boring overall with the light rates and small flakes, but great timing
cyclone77
The late afternoon show showers definitely helped to make up for the pixie fest that was this system. It didn't add up to more than a trace, but it was great seeing bursts of nice dendrites as the showers passed through. At times it was snowing quite nicely with the sun out. Sure is nice to see the fresh snow on the ground with the xmas lights around the neighborhood. Really completes the festive look lol.
TugHillMatt
4 inches here with lake effect snow going. That main lake effect/enhanced band dropped over 2 inches here in a little over an hour.
OrdIowPitMsp
Merry Christmas to all. Glad to see a larger representation of the board getting some well timed snowfall. Really feel for the Iowa-Chicago crowd, it's been a historically rough stretch lately, while Detroit cashes in like Madison 5-10 years ago. snowstormcanuck
Using the trusty eyeball method, it looks like 4-6" fell here. Not seeing many 6"+ reports from across the area on twitter. Storm zipped by too quickly and LE band was too transient. Still a beautiful wintry morning. Merry Christmas everybody.

michsnowfreak
Had 4.5" of beautiful powder on Christmas Eve. It could not have been more perfectly drawn up on a Christmas movie. Everything was glistening. The water content was 0.37" but the flakes were small that's why it didn't fluff up to higher ratios. Again, just a perfect White Christmas and Merry Christmas to all! IWXwx
Ended up with 4.3" on 0.34" liquid here. Small flake size didn't allow much fluff, but the winds picked up enough overnight to create some drifting.
Powerball
I have to LOL at the covergence band settiing up along I-69. But that aside, I'm happy. Couldnt ask for more perfect Christmas weather. Even seeing rare Christmas sunshine to top it off.

After the convergence band went through here, we now have partial sunshine...probably the most we have seen all month! Funny how it takes lake effect snow to get some sunshine.... Tarheel17
Currently getting a piece of the convergence band, half an inch of lake effect in the past hour. Hopefully it shifts 20 miles south and we do even better.

We're in that band now, crazy snow coming down right now, picked up 1.5" since I plowed the 6" we got yesterday and last night. 1/4 mile visibility right now, would not want to be driving on I69 right now. Merry Christmas everyone!
michsnowfreak
Some pictures of our Christmas eve snowstorm and White Christmas Its a perfect Christmas with 4.7" of fresh powder. I am now on 19.4" on the season, other than the grinch meltdown last week its been a great start to 2017-18.
