CoastalWx
The GFS was not rain to BDL. It definitely had snow.

Yeah... we slot on the NAM. Not the best mid level low tracks (euro too!) if we're hoping to a last minute crushing.

ORH_wxman
It def gets unstable as the 5H height falls max out and we get a little curl back to the NW in the flow. May have to watch for a brief finale with some pretty heavy rates.

dendrite
It’ll have to start deepening a lot earlier for me to get 12”. Maybe a tamarack special?

eduggs
The 850mb low on the GFS tracks from Pittsburgh to Watertown before redeveloping over CNH. Thats a tough track for snow.
ORH_wxman
Rgem is a hugger too. But it miles outside of 495 pretty good.

HIPPYVALLEY
The Christmas Day grinch is the meanest grinch. I'm not quite as concerned in NW MA, should be mostly snow. Of course I would prefer to have powder and not risk power issues with paste.

GYX is more bullish for areas around I-95 and points northeast, with lesser amounts for foothills/mountains, at least with their currently progged track. AFD said 3-6" here, though the P&C had 5-9. Nearly a foot OG out there now, so it's all good.
