I'm looking at -10 to -15°F here thurs-fri, I bet your at least -20 there, We left the Caribou motor inn back several years ago one morning to go ride it was -35°F  when we left once we got two of the 5 sleds that wouldn't start going, It made it up to -5¯F on the day, Felt balmy at that point.......lol

Yup it’s amazing how cold that area can get when the cold comes in.  I took a picture one night of my thermometer in the truck when it was reading -33F one night in Sinclair back about 10 years ago.    And isn’t it something when you experience those type of temps...all of a sudden zero feels pretty decent lol.  N. Aroostook knows how to do cold that’s for sure.

Getting close to pulling the plug down here. Maybe some parting plakes after a rainy morning. Still holding out hope for a stronger, more dynamic low

It’s getting close for sure. I’ll be out on this threat by 12z tomorrow... writing is on the wall.

At least all the salt will get washed away for good

You want to see a melt....stand the $uck by if xmas ever managed to rain here.

I don't think it will.

It’s getting closer, but I think you’ll do pretty good.

I won’t melt...  but I’m definitely not chasing false hope all day tomorrow and Sunday. I’m also not putting any stock in backside snow. Is that in the fraud five?

"Backlash"....yes, number five....caveat being if you see a compact coastal nuke, then all bets are off.

I'm not talking the usual delusions of snowshowers making it over the river and  through the ORH hills.

Pretty much. A lot of posters here would be waking up to a soaking rain.

Ill be honest, not to rant, but I’d rather it whiff than rain.

Funny how instead of just being insanely warm this year we will find a way to manufacture a Rainer on Christmas morning. Fitting

Gotta admit, though...finally a good shot at a movie-script Christmas morning snow storm, and to see it rain?

Demoralizing-

Not predicting that....just saying.
