USCAPEWEATHERAF
GFS struggles with these lows and driving them into a 1050mb banana high pressure system, not gonna happen, especially with a -AO Vortex over Hudson Bay, Canada. The flow doesn't proclaim amplification on the new GFS run.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Man... what id give for that to verify. 2-3 day long snowstorm dropping close to 2 feet
USCAPEWEATHERAF
GFS finally sees that it has no where to go with the low pressure center, so it is trying to redevelop off the Mid Atlantic Coastline, this time we have the high in a favorable spot for fresh cold air invasion, still makes a weird storm evolution, waiting for the EURO

ORH_wxman
If you take a blend of guidance, it's pretty good for a chunk of New England for Xmas. Euro being the NW outlier...even if you still give it 70% weight, it would snow for most.
WinterWolf
Living in CT I’m not familiar with Harvey. Is he good??

Not sure why that would hug considering this event is shearing out...if anything, would think the baroclinic zone would shift eastward.

That is especially true given that models such as the GGEM that sort of supported a more west track have gone east at 00z. Euro will go east at 00z too...I'll be shocked if it doesn't. I can't do anything...if you are on a computer and not mobile...find your handle name at the top left and click on the drop down arrow and select "manage followed content"....then once in there, click on "topics" and it should show you all the topics you are following. Unselect all of them and it should stop.
