wxdude64
I have a ground truth minus radar for those fretting.... I am WAY south and west drizzle/VERY light snow mix here with nothing showing on radar. Enough that things have gotten either wet or white depending on surface. 30.8/28.5, reports things are starting to get slick on the roads.
Kmlwx
4 minutes ago, clskinsfan said: That is interesting. Never thought about that before. Maybe it is right on the outer edge of the radar? Consider that how in area-wide events the radar kind of has the donut hole. Remember that as the beam gets farther from the radar site, the area it is sampling is higher up. So areas away from the radar site will have precip show up earlier on radar since the beam is sampling higher up in the cloud. But obviously, some of it is in fact the Westminster Deathband in real life
RevWarReenactor
Radar is really starting to take off. Flurries have started in Newark Delaware. But its like 1 flake every 30 seconds. You have to search to find them.
