Laytonsville and Damascus probably will push 4.5" I just measured a little over 4” so 4.5” seems doable.

SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Finally getting some nicer flakes and decent rates. If we can keep this going for a couple more hours I’ll be pretty stoked.

Jebman
Later tonight comes the really fun part for those with multiple inches of snow, its going to blow around, blowin' off of roofs, it'll have the feel of being in Nebraska in Jan during an epic blizzard! Jebman
I made a money decision when I decided NOT to try and stay up all night and all day. By now - I would have been falling asleep on my feet right during the best snow lmao! I'm wide awake and savoring the falling snows.

dailylurker
Just got back from a nice Jebwalk down on my neighbors farm. Standing in the middle of the field that is bordered by tall pine trees while the snow gently fell reminds me why I love snow. 29 degrees with the best snow of the day. Haven't measured yet. Sometimes it looks like someone hits a switch and turns it off regardless of how radar is progressing and other times it turns up the juice. Right now it looks like the latter but always a coin flip. Shutoff around 7pm so still some time for some number padding if it keeps up.

RVAman
Is anyone thinking this front to the west near WV is going to be stronger than anticipated?? It looks like its building right behind this low and will clip it, I've said it several times. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

There's dry air in between and the mountains are going to eat the stuff the stuff to the west. Once this final wave pushes through in a couple hours that should be it. Stormpc
1.0". 30.5/30. Caught between bands again but everything looks to be pushing steadily east so that will change. Nice event. Would love to get 2", which was my personal benchmark, but just got a little unlucky.

He definitely slant sticked I measure on a specific spot that generally tends to not settle, and the yard has been walked across a few times. Its on top of a piece of wood. We're actually closer to 3" right now on that particular spot. Loved taking him out for his first measurement though.
