I am interested in learning more about amateur meteorology and forecasting.

I am looking for suggestions on the best resources to learn.

You might check out Tim Vasquez's nightly weather broadcast: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA6mm30VIccQaYjABLaQ6Eg. He talks through his forecasting process with upper-air charts and models. It's accessible and informative.

Sign up for free and start taking whatever might peak your interest. As for starting from the beginning im sure you can find a PDF of something out there. Meteorology Today is a good book for basics.
