cyclone77
Spoke too soon. Just had a nice burst of moderate snow the last ten mins. Picked up a few tenths quite quickly. Started as some snow pellets mixed with fat and wet dendrite composites, and then transitioned to a nice rain of dendrites. Winding down now. Short but sweet, and on the board for the season. Snowman69
Snowing pretty good here.Dang this really bites... I was so looking forward for a good 2"-3" of snow tonight, but no the dang troph had to move. So, now it's looking like here in Northern Illinois isn't going to have a white Christmas Sent from my LGL82VL using Tapatalk
Snowman69
Yeah the HRRR is painting less than an inch around here. Would be similar to Wednesday’s non-event. But hey... north Atlanta will probably have close to a foot by tomorrow morning! You know it’s going to be an interesting season when the southern states get a blockbuster before the northern states even get a synoptic flake! I live in Fulton Illinois and we're only supposed to get maybe 1" of the white stuff here Sent from my LGL82VL using Tapatalk

Indystorm
Burst of heavier snow....near whiteout for a few minutes...came through ne Indpls area about an hour ago. Enough to cover the roads and whiten the grass. Snowing lightly now. First true snow of the season here except for some mood flurries earlier. Will enjoy watching whatever banding and squalls set up in the LES region to my north later today.

Hoosier
I didn't measure but it looks like about an inch. Pavement is a mix of wet and snow covered.
Jackstraw
!/2 in. so far. Waiting on the backside see if we can get a good NNW fetch off of the lake this afternoon. HRRR is pretty bullish on 4-6 all the way to almost Kokomo. May be pull another inch or two. It's something to talk about anyway lol
snowlover2
First official DAB at this point.
Geoboy645
Got probably the most snow out of this clipper. I have about 2 inches or so from this storm. Perfect little storm to start off winter with.

Indystorm
At 2 p.m. EST band pivoting nicely from South Bend se to Warsaw down to Wabash and on eastward. Good luck at Huntington Butch.
TugHillMatt
Received between 4 and 5 more inches since midnight last night, thanks to Lake Enhancement. This is when I am very thankful for Lake Michigan! After Thursday's lake effect, and this clipper, we are starting to build a snowpack here in West Michigan. snowlover2
Still coming down at a good clip. Eyeballing maybe 1/2 inch on grass while pavement is covered in some spots and just wet in others.

WxMatt21
A solid inch, maybe a bit more, on the east side of Fort Wayne today. NAM did a pretty good job. It has been snowing the entire day, with occasional rapid, fluffy flakes. Although a 6"+ storm would have been exciting, this was just enough to make things look festive without causing too many problems.
CoachLB
Dry pixy dust all day. Finally caught a band of wet snow.currently moderate snowfall.
osubrett2
Pleasantly surprised just south of downtown Columbus, especially since I was calling for a heavy dusting and nothing more. Heavier bands set up south of I-70 for most of the afternoon instead of north as anticipated. Measured 1.5” IMBY.
HillsdaleMIWeather
GFS is bouncing around the Monday clipper run to run. Not very good when it can't even keep it's head around a clipper at this range.
cyclone77
Picked up 0.3" from the early morning burst of snow. It all sublimated away during the day today, but on the board for the season. Just a T at MLI and DVN from today's system.
RogueWaves
Solid 2.5" total. Most peeps in town were plowing, blowing, or shovelling. On just the 3rd day following transition Tuesday, we have snow piles, grass is mostly covered, and the trees held a lot of snow. Beautiful start to winter for mby. Very pleased with how this turned out
