About 2.5" here over about an hour, with most of that falling over a 20 minute period. No idea how but exactly 4.0” on the snowboard here all in the last hour or so.... DeltaT13
4-8 inch an hour rates!! That band was juiced up big time, that’s insane. Let’s hope it parks over Elliottville now.

wolfie09
Nws going with a quick couple inches in the morning, probably in an hr or two.. patience is a virtue for us SE of the lake, take a look at the avg wind direction by month, clear uptick in favorable wind direction (especially February)..We should start to cash in on some “bigger” events as we move out of December..NW events are actually pretty rare in December.. BuffaloWeather
Weird. Buffalo has WSW winds predominantly in Feb. According to this Feb should be the best month for us. If only the lake wasn't already frozen by Feb. Dec: Jan: Feb: Feb:
BuffaloWeather
Weds looks really good for Fulton to Syracuse area. I would say Lake Effect Snow Advs/warning is a lock.
BuffaloWeather
The last few runs of GFS went from cutter after cutter over the Midwest to suppression city with the lows over the mid atlantic and cold and dry here. Anything beyond 3-4 days is a guess at this point.

DeltaT13
Absurdly good conditions at holiday valley. Looks to be almost 15 inches and upstream moisture currently looks good with the band slightly intensifying over the last hour. Dumping snow!
