DT mentioned yesterday snow squalls this AM, never got them, are these developing snow showers what he was referring to? 

Later than he forecasted but they are building and moving East.

Light snow showers over past 2-3 hours have dropped a bit over 1/2” additional fluff here at Deep Creek Lake.  Temp now 9 above and sky is clearing with blue sky becoming more dominate.  December total snowfall now 23.5”, with 13.5” since Christmas Eve.  Seasonal total up to 29”, which is just a tad over the long term average of 26.4” thru Dec 31.  Snow depth now at 10”, which is quite fluffy and tends to pack down and even evoporate in the dry cold air.
