Sernest14
Through 132 Euro looks good - need to have that low east of OBX and not come up the bay though like it just did. Still 6" before the flip to rain then back to mix/snow later Monday.
RVASnowLover
Yes we need the coastal to stay offshore, not come up the bay

RVASnowLover
Disappointing to get 6 inches but then have it washed away with rain. Still plenty of time for things to change. Really need the coastal to stay offshore
eaglesin2011
Sundays system looking more and more to me like a sleet/rain fest after the first few hours of snow... Hopefully we can luck out.. Need to have it drop a bit more south and off the coast a bit more... I think this first system tonight/tomorrow will give us a clue if this north trend is real, if its able to make it up here with some decent precip... RVASnowLover
Yeah sadly as of now it’s looking like snow to rain/sleet mix. This is why none of us got excited when the euro gave us 2 feet yesterday
Rvarookie
Still got some time here to adjust. I think we be ok

JB Fins
Yeah, it's tough to be in the other thread with all the champagne corks popping. Hoping for a shift so we can all cash in. I will take a 6-8" with sleet and call it a season. Don't want that little bit of snow with all the rain puddles where you can't do anything with it except get soaked.
eaglesin2011
Clouded up rather nicely ahead of this first system... Prob have hit the high of the day, so that's also a good thing.

Just don’t want the rain to wash it away. I’m staying away from the main thread too as they are popping bottles and celebrating. Only reason why I go on there is because they post maps I don’t have access to unless I want to pay
Sernest14
The ENS low placements are pretty solid. A number of them right where we need with a few outliers both ways. Only a handful are really where the OP shows or more west.

I’ll take that over one op run
Sernest14
You also have 1 member that is far NW Ohio with the L that is probably pulling the OP placement west more than it will be (wishful thinking)

Inudaw
Two different ways to get 2 Inches. The getting a slightly more amped slider to clip Richmond a bit more On Thursday. Then a brief snow to sleet to rain 2 inch slop fest on Sunday. 1
RVASnowLover
18z NAM gives us 2 inches tomorrow. NC gets NAMd with 8-12 inches
benjammin
18z NAM gives us 2 inches tomorrow. NC gets NAMd with 8-12 inches If NC gets more snow from that system tonight and tomorrow (which I doubt) than most of us get from Sunday to Monday that will be unfortunate. It’s not bad for overnight tonight and it’s been bad pretty much the whole time for Sun/Mon. Again GFS vs Euro at 96-120 hours? I wouldn’t bet against Euro. I think the GFS is missing something but we will know soon enough huh?
