Snowmadness
Yeah it’s a complete reversal from last nights runs. I agree with you that the euro is going to be probably be not the greatest. The only thing we can hope for is everything to trend back in our favor before Saturday:

Sernest14
Still have a few models that give us 3"+ ; hoping the euro holds ground - GFS is at least showing improvement over previous days run as well.

eaglesin2011
It's definitely an active pattern coming up ..We may not got the big one in any of these but a few shots of snow isn't bad at all considering.
RVASnowLover
12z euro to the rescue. Crushes Hampton Roads. Sadly the euro is on its own
Snowmadness
Up to I guess 90 hour 6z cutoff, was the 12z euro better then the 6z euro? Looking for something positive…lol

We don't need a huge move at this point,as long it's not crazy jog south or west...we are in a good spot for a decent to heavy event. Good thing more to most likely come after these two this month... ldub23
Whatever ends up happening this is the best set-up possible for this area. Arctic front stalls to our SE and then we wait to see if a strong enough low can bring us a good snow. W e may still whiff but at least this is far better than the last low.
Sernest14
Thursday looks like a dud on the 18z - that low never seems to pick up any steam and things stay a bit more suppressed.
RVASnowLover
Yup. NAM is not impressive for Thursday. Saturdays event looks interesting but hard to say
Sernest14
at about 4-5" on the GEFS with 15:1 ratios for the weekend. Roughly the same for operational.
RVASnowLover
Not awful. Just need a little more phasing.

Snowmadness
The 18z operational GFS has ticked north west slightly. Yesterday gfs didn’t even have any precipitation at all in most of va. I am not throwing in the cards yet on a big storm evolving. lot of moving parts the models need to digest. if that northern piece of energy can back off some then more phasing can occur and less separation.

RVASnowLover
18z euro is meh for RVA. Light event here. More significant in Hampton Roads. This might be one of those where HR gets hit hard while we get fringed. Seen that some before

How about enjoy getting 3 events by the end of the month.. Hell we haven't even got past Thursday's /Fridays event yet
