Over the last 3 weeks we’ve had more decent threats than we had all winter. Ill be shocked if the storm this weekend doesn’t bump north into us. Rd9108
3k NAM further north and 12k NAM. Typically northern shift. Euro is still south but came north. Can it just warm up already?

SteelCity08
I still really like where we sit with this one, especially with a few days to go. Only concern would be if it fell mostly in the daytime, even then it would seem to be some heavy stuff.
Rd9108
Everything went south overnight. Suppression in April is kind of hard to believe but that's what it's happening as of now.
SteelCity08
Storm misses in April are much less depressing, I'll tell you that. Let's get some warmer weather going now.

Lower 30’s at 2pm on April 7th shows that we had plenty cold air to work with. Unfortunately the rest fell apart.

If it was a cold winter month the storm would have probably been our typical 1-2 inch kind of Clipper snowfall. As much as I like snow.....boy am I ready for the 70's on Friday! It's a good thing though. We need the precipitation. It's been so dry, and there's been a landslide shortage in recent years.

MikeB_01
This is one of the most active in NWS history in terms of the number of counties in watches, warnings, and advisories. This map is unreal right now
MikeB_01
Not sure I've ever seen a red flag warning for our area before. I haven’t either. NWS tweeted today that this is the 9th red flag warning since 2006. I had no clue it was that high.

blackngoldrules
I've seen some pretty good squalls as well. Quick dustings and then quick meltings.
