SteelCity08
They cut totals by an inch in the warning as well. 3-5" instead of 3-6". Did add localized amounts of 7" though.
north pgh
For now casting I generally use the hrrr. Currently it shows heavier precip moving in from Ohio early afternoon. It changes our precip around 11:00 pm. It stays moderate to heavy through 3:00am and this is the screenshot for total snow and sleet accumulation thru then. Never budged yesterday when a lot of models were pumping out more of a 6-8" scenario.

MikeB_01
Cold air is making its push. Not sure if it is early or not. Temps in cleveland are below freezing. Youngstown is in the mid 30s. We are still in the 50s. The gradient on this thing is a beast

MikeB_01
12z Euro takes a more easterly track. Or so it seemed on the simulated precip type. Its inline with everything else. NWS made a nice call yesterday with the 3-6. I think that holds up pretty well for most of the metro.

SteelCity08
My over 2 week old snowpack finally melted yesterday, sure won't take long to replenish that. Maybe we can take our 3-5" from this and add the 1-3" on Tues to it? That way we can at least act like we got a 5-8" storm lol.

Burghblizz
I can’t remember any storms where we went rain to snow and had a significant period of freezing rain in between.
